I heard the smooth, drawn-out notes and the slow pulsing vibrato and knew it had to be Alice Russell. I had to find out what album this was on so I asked the DJ if this was indeed Ms. Russell and she said "No, it's Bah Samba"... Bah Sambah?!!! WTF is that?!! And who is this chick jackin' Alice's vocals?!! Well after a bit of googling this week, I ran into this site and after reading this article...I am a bit clearer on who Bah Sambah is. I just bought "Portuguese Love" off of the Beach Pary Remix album and will very likely purchase Bah Sambah IV (it wasn't on itunes yet).
